LEAP programs are about more than keeping busy. They create opportunities for children an youth to develop skills, build confidence, make friends, and participate in their community.
Child & Youth Programs
LEAP offers a variety of programs, groups, camps, and activities for children and youth throughout the year.
Whether it’s trying something new, developing a skill or simply spending time with peers, our programs provide welcoming opportunities to learn, connect and have fun.
Offerings and age groups vary throughout the year based on community needs and available funding.
Parent & Child Groups
Our parent and child groups provide opportunities for families to learn, play, and explore together in a welcoming and supportive environment.
Groups may focus on areas such as sensory exploration, communication, play and engagement, while also giving parents and caregivers opportunities to connect with their children and other families.
Programs are developed around the needs of our community and may change throughout the year.
Community Outings
Everyone deserves the opportunity to participate in community life.
LEAP helps create opportunities for children and youth to experience recreational activities, community events, and outings alongside their peers.
By helping remove barriers to participation, we can create more opportunities for children and youth to explore their community, build independence and feel a sense of belonging

What to know before registering
Programs at LEAP vary in age range, schedule, availability and registration requirements.
Thanks to grants, donations, and community support, some programs may be offered at little or no cost to families. Details for each program, including eligibility, dates, costs, and registration information, will be included with the individual program listing.
Space may be limited, so families are encouraged to register early when registration is required.
